For the love of all things creative!! When Jessie contacted me about doing a themed shoot for her and Sacks anniversary I was like yes, yes yes!! I am so your girl!! When we were in the planning stage of the session, my excitement could not be contained! Her idea was to try for something vintagyy/greeser/pin-up like, she showed me her outfits and let me tell you it's, I was so hooked!! They were perfect! She mentioned that Zacks grandpa had a old car she wanted to use for the shoot. Now, myself being the typical non-car person I am, was like okay!! I had no idea what to expect as far as the vehicle went lol! But for petes sake it was perfect!!! When I arrived at the location for the shoot ( Zack's grandpas farm) I was so ecstatic!!! Guys zack pulled up in a red 50's model ford. It was so epic, I can't explain just how gorgeous this car was, so just scroll on down! The images will speak for themselves!
Now, let's talk about the location, because I've come to the conclusion, that I need to hit the lottery and build an exact replica of everything!! The first thing that caught my eye was the green house!! (Insert girly squeal) I've been looking for a nice green house for a while now, so when I seen that, I was stoked!! It was perfect! Outside of the green house, was a beautiful area for plants and flowers, and blueberries! Inside the green house the light was heaven!! We changed the time of the shoot, for Golden Hour (my all time favorite time to shoot.) And I'm so glad we did because, when the light hit the glass windows, it made every plant in the green house and outside, look so magical!
Aside from this perfect little piece of heaven that is now forever etched in my heart, we used the willow tree for the picnic set up, and the barn for the car scene! Zack was a little confusedas to why I wanted to shoot them infront of the barn, that looked more like a workshop, since there was a perfectly nice and neat looking red barn to the side! Just trust me, I told him! This one is perfect!
I never wanted this shoot to end! It is by far one of the more creative shoots I've done!! I just want to keep re-living this day over and over! Sine I can't physically do that, these images will just have to do! I hope you all enjoy these as much as my creative heart does!
