While on our friends trip in North Carolina, I was able to photograph Alex and Brooke for their 1 year anniversary of being married! We had originally planned for sunset photos in the mountains, but you know what, this pull off spot with dramatic skies turned out perfect!

Thanks to Austin, over the year’s I’ve gotten to create memories and connections with Alex and Brooke, and I just adore them. To know them is to know un-controllable laughter, good jokes, doggy love, and true friendship. I’m always thankful to have good genuine people in my life! So just know that myself and Austin love you guys! Who’s ready for another friends trip?

“I’ve attempted to put why I love my wife, but its difficult; due to there not being words in the dictionary strong enough. Being married to Brooke is so fun. We both have so much fun with each others companionship. We just desire to be around each other and it makes life so much more bearable. She is the definition of selfless, and gives so much of her self to the one she loves. To pin point what I love about her is impossible because I love everything about her. We never go to bed mad, and we are never to hard headed to say sorry. She is just a great human and I am truly the luckiest man to have found not only a wife but a best friend. “

Brooke

“My favorite thing about Alex is that, naturally he is my best friend. And I think that’s why the first year of marriage has been pretty easy for us. Of course life isn’t easy but being married to your best friend makes things easier. To our future selves; I would say to keep laughing, and to not take life so serious all the time.”
