Oh boy oh boy, what do I even say about these two lovelies?
Have you ever met a couple, and just automatically knew they were perfect for each other. Like, these two amazing souls, were created for one another. Well that’s Megan and Cole! No doubt about it. They are a match made in heaven! I mean, when I found out that Cole proposed to her at an a capella concert, after singing a solo in “In the Still of the Night, I was already sold by their corny love. (Fun fact about this cute duo, we all went to school together at Breck Co, though Cole was a few grades above me, and Megan was a few below!)
From the moment they contacted me about covering their wedding, I knew that it would be nothing less than perfect! I just knew in my creative bones, that I was going to love working with them, as individuals and as a couple! And I was right! They had a harry potter themed engagement session for goodness sakes, how could I not love them! If that’ doesn’t scream super cute nerds I don’t know what does! And then, the Wedding it’s self was picnic themed! I literally couldn’t even!
Megan and Coles wedding was such an enjoyable day to be a part of! Driving all around Lexington in the scortching heat was well worth it! Pretty sure it was over 100 degrees! I feel like we were able to utilize so much of their surroundings for the big day! It started out at the Joseph Beth Bookstore/Bistro, for some fun with the groom and his groomsmen, then to Megan’s apartment to watch her girls help her transform into a princess for a day. Most of the portraits took place at the UK Arboretum Park until we were rained out! Then off to the Lyric Theater to watch to of the sweetest lovey dovey humans say I do! I’m a big baby when it comes to love, and witnessing two become one, but these two had me in tears pretty much all day!
So honored and thankful to capture the most perfect and intimate day for these two! I wish you both many years of sappy love, crazy dance moves and dorky jokes!
